GOOD DESIGN AWARD and LONG LIFE DESIGN AWARD are determined
GOOD DESIGN AWARD Winners Announced
The Japan Institute of Design Promotion (chairperson: Hiroshi NAITO), the organizer of the GOOD DESIGN AWARD, announced the Award winners for 2022 on October 7. The organization started accepting entries for the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2022 on April 1, and following the screening of 5,715 entries, a total of 1,560 awarded works have been determined.
And, we have also announced 21 recipients of the GOOD DESIGN LONG LIFE DESIGN AWARD, which is given to products and projects that have been supported by the people over a long time.

Awarded entries : 1,560 (-50 entries)
Awarded companies : 1,099 (-2 companies)
Total entries : 5,715 (-120 entries)
The above numbers include 31 awarded works from outside Japan
GOOD DESIGN GRAND AWARD to be announced on November 1
The winner of the GOOD DESIGN GRAND AWARD will be determined through voting on November 1 by the judges in the committee, this year’s GOOD DESIGN AWARD winners and the visitors of GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2022.
Awarded Works Promotion
GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2022
GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2022 is held in order to "share" with you the new "discoveries" made from the screening process. The exhibition highlights the BEST100 awarded works and introduces other awarded works. And, visitors to the exhibition are invited to vote for the Finalists for the GOOD DESIGN GRAND AWARD. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a variety of events such as a live online broadcast of GRAND AWARD Election on November 1, and the talk events between the jury members and the winners.
