About the Award-Winning Designers Gallery

This gallery links each designer with the award-winning designs they have created, regardless of award year or affiliated company.
Any designer involved in an award-winning design can create a personal page in the gallery as an “Award-Winning Designer” and register their works past, present, or future regardless of year, company, or role. Designers and design firms already listed in the Award-Winning Companies Gallery are also eligible to register.

*Including those who served as producers or directors.
*Confirmation by the award-winning company or equivalent is required.

Highlight the Achievements as an Award-Winning Designer

Create a free personal page within the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Gallery (with a fixed URL) to display a complete list of GOOD DESIGN AWARD achievements. Even if the company affiliation or name has changed since receiving the award, or if there are variations in name spelling or characters, any design in which the person was involved as a designer, director, or producer can be registered, with comments added for each award-winning design.
As this is a personal page, it can also include the current affiliation and links to personal social media accounts. Any award-winning designs may be freely selected for display.

When in-house designers create personal pages and showcase the designs they have worked on under their own names, it helps enhance their motivation and professional awareness. Showing the faces behind the designs and sharing their past work also contributes to building trust.

When a designer’s personal page features your company’s award-winning designs, it increases exposure and supports the promotion of those designs.

Registration for the Award-Winning Designers Gallery

Currently, registration is open to designers whose past work has received a GOOD DESIGN AWARD.
Please create an account via the registration site and enter the required information. All submitted information will generally be made public, and you may update it at any time.

Two Registration Methods

• Self-registration by the award-winning designer
  → Please follow the steps below to register (see ①–④ for details).

• Registration by the award-winning company via its entry site *Including producers and directors
  
  → Access award-winning company’s entry site and, from “View Details” of the relevant award-winning work, click “Award-Winning Designer.” Once the invited designer creates a personal account, the work will be linked to their award-winning designer page.
  
  → Compared to “Self-registration by the award-winning designer,” this method is simpler as it does not require a third-party confirmation process by the company.
  
  → Registration via the company’s entry site is only available from the award announcement until the end of February of the following year.

Details of Self-registration by the Award-Winning Designer

① Create a personal account on the Award-Winning Designers Gallery Registration Site.

② Link award-winning designs to the personal page.

• From “New Registration,” search for your award-winning designs by year and keyword, then select the designs you wish to register.

③ Request confirmation from the award-winning company or buiness owner.

• To complete registration, the designer must obtain confirmation from a third party, such as a representative of the award-winning company, verifying the involvement in the design.

• The confirmer can be designated directly.
  Enter the company/organization name, name, and email address of the confirmer in the form, then submit the request (an email will be sent by the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Office). After the request is approved and the organizer completes the registration process, the designer page will be published in the gallery.
  *For smoother processing, the confirmer should be contacted in advance before sending the request.

For Representatives of Award-Winning Companies Receiving a Confirmation Request

The GOOD DESIGN AWARD registers the “Name of the Design” and the “Company Name” as award information, but has not previously registered designer names. Therefore, in order to confirm that a designer requesting registration is indeed the person involved in the award-winning design, a confirmation process by a representative of the award-winning company is required.
Upon receiving an email from the GOOD DESIGN AWARD regarding a “Confirmation Request from an Award-Winning Designer,” please approve or reject the request promptly.

④ After approval by the responsible person and final confirmation by the organizer, the designer will be registered and published in the Award-Winning Designers Gallery.

• The current status can be checked in the registration status List:

  Processing (Company): Awaiting confirmation from the responsible person.
  Processing (Organizer): Confirmation completed by the responsible person; awaiting registration by the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Office.
  Rejected: Confirmation declined by the responsible person (a new confirmation request may be submitted).
  Published: Registration completed by the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Office; published on the designer page and in the gallery.
