Outline

The Akita ‘Age Gap Friends Club’ (AGFC) is designed to accelerate the meeting and coming together of the local community in order to make new friends from a variety of backgrounds. This will also help to increase a feel good factor for people of all ages to enjoy and reduce the suffering of people who feel social isolated and lonely. As a result, the AGFC will increase the possibility for anyone to enjoy longevity within their local community. In this project we are focusing on people who have a sizeable age gap to become good friends. This has been achievable with help of the Civic Participation and formed "Akita Age Gap Friends Club". The club members are enthusiastic and eager to put into practice their ideas and plans to make friends with younger and older people.
