Evaluation

Customers do not go into the bank to take care of simple procedures; they go there when they have a problem to resolve. This bank branch was designed to provide a customer-centered banking experience, one aspect being the ease with which customers can access information. The bank is not being singled out for design in terms of the actual facilities (hardware), but rather for its focus on the soft part of banking, the service experience. This design provides a valuable service for the global customer, one that Japanese financial service providers have a difficult time delivering.
