■日本は2065年には国民の約2.6人に1人が65歳以上の高齢者となる世界に例のない超高齢社会が到来すると推計されています。■その中で、少子化や地域力の弱体化により不便や不安を感じる高齢者や病人が増加し孤立することが予想されます。■この社会問題の解決には行政だけではなく、地域社会を巻き込んでのQOL(クオリティ・オブ・ライフ＝生活の質)向上が必要不可欠だと考え「願いのくるま」が始動しました。

■関わる人に生きる活力や思い出を提供します。■ご利用者は、いくつもの治療・手術を家族のため、自分のためにと耐え、流れゆく日々を過ごしていく中で「願いのくるま」を利用する事が小さな目標となります。利用の日まで、意識して体力をつけたり、久しぶりのオシャレをしたりと日常に楽しみと変化をもたらすことで生きる活力となります。 ■ご家族は、目の前で病と闘う大切な人の役に立てない自分を情けなく悲しく感じてしまいがちです。今日一日が持つ意味が少しずつ重みを増していく中で「願い」を叶えるという一つの目標の実現にともに向かい、思い出の1ページを作る機会を提供します。 ■医療福祉関係者は、介護や医療処置だけの関係ではなく、ご利用者に寄り添い当日を迎えられるよう日常生活の中で目標に向かって一緒に取り組みます。目標を設定し生きる希望を見出したご利用者と接する事でQOL向上への貢献となります。

This is a social contribution activity by a Japanese company that has been exporting automobiles. At free of charge, it offers rides to terminal care patients to places where they wish to go. To make the service financially viable and offer it with the help of a medical support team, they are backed up by medical organizations and public corporations. However, you can tell that the staff that are usually dealing with more systematic tasks enjoy being part of making somebody happy. It is wonderful that the level of satisfaction is high among the staff. We highly commend the setup that makes everyone involved happy.
