Background
The traditional method of brewing beer at home required complex preparation and cumbersome manufacturing process. It also took much time and required a large space, which made it more difficult to enjoy beer at home. Also, to beginners at home brewing, it was difficult to find his or her own beer style or imagine the taste of home-brewed beer.
History and Achievements
So, we grappled with how we could make this home-brewing machine, which most people have not yet heard of, intuitive to use so that users can make beer without difficulty. We designed the interface to be simple so that the user can use it just like a capsule-type coffee machine while following the traditional brewing process. For visual assistance, we added color chips for the wort so that they can form different colors for various beer styles according to the user's recipes and designed emblems according to the unique characteristics of beer recipes. The screen on the machine as well as the app screen provide a visual representation of the fermentation process in steps from its start to the end. After the production is complete, the user can monitor the final yield of beer on the screen.
Specification
The main body has a width and length of about 500mm, and without any beer inside, it is light enough for the user to lift it up and move it. The screen is positioned below the tap, so the user would look down on it from slightly above. The screen has a circular shape with a diameter of 50mm.
