The use of digital technology has the potential to dramatically improve the life of a local area, especially rural communities. On the other hand, whether or not local towns and villages are able to introduce technologies is highly likely to determine whether or not they can survive. This is a project aimed at "making friends with digital," mainly for elderly people who are unfamiliar with digital. There are similar measures nationwide, but what makes this project different from other municipalities is that it incorporates and promotes the power and ideas of the private sector, rather than simply placing an order of value determined in the bidding. We often hear "government-private cooperation or partnership" for these kinds of projects, but there are few that are actually carried out after both parties have fully understood what the public sector should do and what the private sector should do. This project is rated in that it has been steadily producing good results in a short period of time from its launch. We also evaluate that this is the project by Tsuno-cho, a town that has taken measures full of originality.
