Outline: A shaver designed with a paper handle and metal head to reduce plastic use. It is packed flat and assembles for use, with a thickness of just 3 mm and a weight of just 4 g. The printed graphic can be changed to create a variety of patterns. This is a new concept that provides the emotional value of the enjoyment of selection and the enjoyment of use in addition to the basic function of shaving.

Evaluation

The combination of paper with practicality as a product and a metal head-blade has produced a totally new, unprecedented design. This product was highly praised in terms of adding emotional values such as "joy to choose", "joy to use", and "fun to assemble", in addition to the function to "shave." Conventional razors with plastic bodies make us feel guilty when we dispose of them because of their materials and sizes. Notably, this product has achieved a new design that can ease such a guilty feeling. Also, as this product is to be assembled by folding flat paper, it can be used in a number of different situations by using different design patterns to produce various graphics. We strongly hope that this product will be used as an environment friendly item to replace ordinary razors and push forward with a plastic-free movement in the future.
