Outline

The design objective is to fuse fun adventure with fulfilling activities that give back to people and planet. The program also educates people on how one can make a difference in their small way for people and the environment. The special feature of the program can be a social enterprise education program with social entrepreneurship students at the GK Enchanted Farm, Bulacan, Philippines or an environmental program like reforestation and culture with the indigenous people (Aetas) of Zambales, Philippines. The desired effect is to make travelers more conscious and to encourage them to go deeper and help others . Travel changes people and this kind of travel can change the visitor and the visited to both become better through adventures that matter.

Evaluation

A young person that experienced volunteering at GK Farm was moved by its policy and founded a travel agency. "GK Farm" is a local community established as a project to eradicate five million poor households in the Philippines by 2024. The GK Farm experience tour includes farming, dairy farming and craft experiences, and through interaction with local residents with a student guide from an agricultural college, social issues are contemplated. This new social tourism, planned as an experiential tour, was praised.
