Outline

The aim of the project of architectural planning is to revive urban and rural interexchange and a casual assembly place for villagers with repair and conversion of a vacant old Japanese-style house in Yumoto Area, Tenei Village, Fukushima Prefecture. The assembly facility consists three factors: "topographical stage", "exchange Doma", and "Zashiki". The facility also promotes architecture methods diligently as well as inheritance of three factors. Especially, consideration of management of thatch roof, the facility is conscious of scenery of surrounding and formation of the village.
