概要

Hallasu is the representative of Premium bottled brand of JEJU Island which is listed on the UNESCO World Nature Heritage 2007. It has "Mysterious oriental water" brand concept. Tobuild up Hallasu's own Vosual identity, the shape of bottle is motifed from that of Jeju Island and the label design is applyed traditional Oriental calligraphy.

デザインコンセプト

Hallasu Concept "Mysterious Oriental Water". JEJU, The mystical island created by volcanic eruption of Halla Mountain. JEJU'S mystical water, clean and full of vitality and reinvigorates our body.

背景

Asia market is becoming as the key market in world's bottled water market. Also South Korean premium bottled water market continues to growing and showing seperated with regular in the market. JPDC Has the overwhelming brand, called 'Jeju Samdasoo', in regular bottled water market. JPDC realised they need a new brand for the premium bottled water market.

デザイナーの想い

Hallasu is a table water. So it has been considered a few things. first of all, In order to overall design well with each visual elemens such as the shape of bottle, cap's color, and label design. Also making good harmany with any other objects when Hallasu is on the dining table.

企画・開発の意義

Considerations: Hallasu is representative of pure natural mineral water and bring to people with healthy water and offering elegant lifestyle. Hallasu is expected to be exported to Japan, China, Southeast asian countries, as well as other Westurn ountries.

創意工夫

@Brand Name: Brand name came from Halla Mountain. Because of Jeju Lsland s a volcanic island, dominated by Halla Mountain. @Label Design: Hallasu 'Su' is designd by the masters of calligraphy from Korea(Yeongbok Sin), Japan(Ogino Tansetsu), and China(Kan-Tai kung). @Bottled Design: The design of the bottle is reflected Mt. Halla motif, is highly sophisticated.

審査委員の評価

済州島のイメージを形状化して地域性をパッケージにいれたところが高く評価できる。輸出先の国ごとにパッケージを変えるなど、マーケティングにもデザインが考慮されている点も良い。
