Outline: Air purifiers are an extremely simple and efficient product that draws air in, purifies it, and blows the clean air out. 'Lhotse' is a product resulting from our endeavor toward an optimized mechanism for air flow and purification. The cylindrical product form presents a visual expression of the product's functionality-sucking the stale air in from underneath the product and blowing the clean air out through the fan on top. The form factor itself serves as an element of product identity.

Evaluation

Although a normal air purifier generally vibrates, due to its design this product vibrates very little since it has a smaller area in contact with the floor. The filter area is larger due to the diagonal shape of the air purifying filter, which substantially increases the air purifying capacity. The fact that these functions have been improved by the structure is highly valued.
