Evaluation

The "Ojigi" from Marukame Uchiwa is a good example of design, tapping into traditional technology while turning the uchiwa into something you carry, not something disposable. The shape is natural and chic, and the choice of color has been refined so the shape and colors are pleasant to the eyes. It's of a rigid construction suitable for carrying. Wave it and you will notice it's off-center, which aligns the breeze to efficiently reach the face.
