Outline: Digital radiography device, adopting a TFT sensor board and featuring light weight and high image quality. This device succeeds to our own back-fitting shell body, which can easily be inserted beneath the patient's body; arranges various kinds of LEDs on the imaging plane; and features a highly cleanable seamless design. This device, featuring capabilities of video imaging for fluoroscopy applications as well as still image imaging, provides a new solution for a wide range of in-hospital applications.

Evaluation

Panels once made a significant reformation in the clinical environment by the first-generation innovation, the changeover from X-ray film to DR. Now, those panels have made dramatically evolved in terms of functions and usability. Expecting that a panel is meant to be used in conjunction with various devices, many new devices, which were enabled by moving picture generating function and reduction of radiation dose, have been produced. Considering all these contributions to medical care as a whole, the value of development of panels cannot be overestimated. The operability of panels has been significantly improved by updating indications and forms as well as reducing weight.
