Outline: Inspired by the elegant nature of porcelain, it questions the concepts of perfection and imperfection within the boundaries of mass production. Preserves the default round shape with distinctive intervention inside the plates. Chefs became experience designers so it is designed to be an element in the chef's creative process with alternative surfaces for food to be served.

Evaluation

While at first glance this might appear to be perfectly ordinary white commercial tableware, the curves reminiscent of ripples on water bring a beautiful subtlety to these items. And when food is served on them, they have an accent that differs again from their appearance as flat, empty plates. We were impressed by how easy these pieces are for servers to carry, as the curves settle comfortably in the hand when one picks them up.
