The project re-interprets the diversity of JR Uguisudani area in east Tokyo and creates new social values through area-renovation. By building a hotel that is opened to the local public, the place turns into 'an urban intersection' where people can seek the ways to live together while discovering the area's hidden values, without falling into the dangers of social cleansing.
