This project brings to fruition the desire of Yasuda Real Estate—a company that has owned buildings in this area for more than 20 years and has devoted its energies to local urban development—to create a verdant community in Nihombashi-hamacho district. The development was based on the assumption that DAISHIZEN—a company that is managing the greenery in this area as part of efforts to bring this project to fruition—would become one of the tenants. Surrounded by lines of flow at various levels, this tenanted building seamlessly blends greenery and people to create a symbol for the whole district. We found the whole project highly praiseworthy, including both the client’s idea and the resultant attractive building that accords with their intentions.
