Mitsukoshi's wrapping paper "HANA-HIRAKU" was produced by the painter Genichiro Inokuma in 1950 even after the Second World War. The novel red color "Scaparelli red" and a novel design with rounded and soft abstract shapes are still loved as "HANA-HIRAKU" = "Mitsukoshi" even after 69 years.
