Outline: HYPERMIX is a building that Tokyo needs with a pursuit of a sharing model and flexibility at our various open space. We design and manage this by splitting up the real estate part by time slots and make adjustment of our open rental space according to different customer needs. In addition to fixed income units, we also pioneer new stream of income and solidify real estate management businesses.

Evaluation

This fantastic project packs many interesting features in a multi-purpose building in a great location of Monzen Nakacho. It includes a shared residence that is very different from existing shared houses in many ways. The project is highly evaluated for looking at work and residence as a continuum by offering a shared space used for a workplace at daytime and for a lounge of shared house at night. It also boldly challenges to satisfy various needs, such as the large space called for the commercial facilities on the lower floors and apartments on the higher floors, while adopting a mid-story isolation system for earthquake resistance. This is surely a one-of-a-kind type of building that deserves a praise.
