Outline

Sumita town, located in the southeastern part of Iwate Prefecture, has a population of 6,000 people, surrounded by mountains on every side, 90% of the total area is occupied by forests. Beginning with the development of stalls made by retired KESEN carpenters, We made furniture for elementary and junior high schools in the town, and made benches and partitions to use at offices and plazas. Furthermore, We developed a toy to promote the town's main subject "SUMITA WOOD WORKS project" and give it to newborns. Furthermore this year we plan to set up signboards and benches for Sumita town.
