Saga Design is an innovation in administrative design; it is an organization and a system newly installed in the Prefectural Government in order to include designers in policy planning.Administrative projects usually face compartmentalized structures,transfers of leaders and pyramid-like decision making processes, which make it difficult to ensure consistency across promotions and communications, and tend to lack personality. But Saga Design surpasses the governmental system; by incorporating designer perspectives from the planning phase, we create projects and policies with originality.
