JUJUBE-the fruit of the jujube̶- has inspired the design of tea ceremony wares and other craft items since ancient times. This pendant light borrows the natsume's round, generous shape. Each aluminum shade has been handcrafted by a metal spinning craftsman in Tsubame, Niigata, a city known for its traditional metal crafts. Pendants come in three colors associated with Japan: red, white, and sumi (gray), with a glossy mirror finish hand-applied by a lacquer craftsman.
