Yaskawa , a top global company in the areas of industrial robots and inverter technology, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2015. As a leader in “Kitakyushu: Manufacturing Town”, the head office and plant were reorganized to be more open to the city. The new headquarter building, as well as the entire site, make full use of 100 eco-friendly elements as well as the location.“Yasakawa Forest” was created as a space for the general public to enjoy walking through. The “Yaskawa Innovation Center”, built inside the forest, features a state-of-the-art technology and is free of charge.
