Washoku Kyushoku Oendan is an organization established in March 2014 with Japanese cuisine chefs who are strongly-motivated to carry on the "Washoku" culture. 30 Japanese cuisine chefs are supporting local schools to encourage more Japanese cuisine for school lunch so that students will learn the great value of "Washoku". Supported by Japanese food suppliers and MAFF, our activities include Japanese cuisine chefs to plan the menu with the school nutritionists as well as provide cooking demonstrations and dietary education classes for them to implement more Japanese cuisine for school lunch.
