This video, called “Sound of Ikebana,” has been created targeting to create new Japanese art/design in which basic concept of Japanese traditional artworks and cutting-edge technologies are integrated at high-level. Shot at 2,000 frames per second using high-speed photography, “Sound of Ikebana” is a series of videos that showcases vibrant images using various liquids (such as paints and oils) created from sound vibrations. The video also feature the artistic influences of the Kyoto Rimpa School of art, with a strong presence of the color gold to signify motifs of life and culture.
