Outline

This is a 3 story terrace house with a steel framework, 4.5 m wide and 25 m deep, located on a long, skinny plot of land near central Nagoya, Aichi. Each floor has a different function - the 1st floor is a cafè, the 2nd floor is an office, and the 3rd floor is a residence. It takes advantage of its 25 m depth with a symbolic garden between the building and the road. A staircase, garden balcony and an overhang from the upper floor over the front facade give it a unique look. Hopefully, this garden will be a new place where people of the town can gather, rest and relax.
