This is an apartment in Tokyo. The site is in gently undulating valley. Arround the site, roads and buildings are not arranged homogeneously. We aimed at opening the building to this surrounding circumstances by making it as a part of topography. The building is composed of eroding walls made on the irregular grid. By eroding northeast side facing the junction of five roads, private terraces of each residence and common planters are three-dimensionally correlated. In each residence, by eroding junctions of walls, each spaces are connected at the same time it separated.
