The tiered box containers are a form of Japanese traditional tableware. They have been used for an assortment of dishes on celebrative occasions such as New Year's Day and for dinning with a large number of people. Four sizes are available to be used according to the dish or occasion. The tiered boxes are in convenient plain white porcelain, and in porcelain patterned with stamps.
