Outline: Based on variety traditional food from Taitung sixteen townships and nine ethnic groups, and centered on the essence of International Slow Food movement, we plan activities with different themes and serve as the key platform of the tourism industry, public education, and food & agriculture culture. We created a Slow Food community to represent traditional food culture and support local products.

Evaluation

It is natural progress that the theme of Slow Food in Taitung, Taiwan leads to the local foods of indigenous peoples. Participating restaurants, whose number has reasonably increased, experientially teach their local food culture to visitors from across Taiwan. It is brilliant that the restaurants consequently become highly confident and reflect their learning at the festival, such as plastic reduction and spatial design, in their shop business. The festival becomes the place of learning through "food" enjoyable to many people. The government of Taitung, which continues supporting the activities, is also superb.
