Outline: A plate that weighs the amount of food on it. A smartphone app is available to enable remote checking. People sometimes buy food they already have or multiple family members buy the same item. This plate helps to manage the amount of food by reducing food waste. Evaluation

This product is handy and helpful in reducing food waste. It is also easy on the pocketbook. There is no unnecessary shaping, and even the package is designed with deliberate care. This product itself is very well designed; however, the best point is that the function is independently materialized, instead of being a built-in function of a refrigerator. As refrigerators are not replaced frequently or customized, items like this product can be very helpful to modify and improve internal functions of refrigerators according to user's demands. Perhaps, this small item will change the way people purchase or use refrigerators.
