Outline: A downsizing renovation of a 60 year old house to restructure the relation with the neighbors. We set the theme"Feeling of privacy" together with the client in her 60's who has been living alone at this place. This is a human-like architecture design which enables to open up the space according to ones mood .An experiment of a lifestyle to watch over each other by opening up life to the neighbor.

Evaluation

The design that realizes security that goes in line with the resident's lifestyle was highly evaluated. In addition to providing a careful solution to the basics of dwelling performance such as reinforced foundation, the living room is left open by enclosing it with glass panels. The contradiction that being open provides protection surely broadens the lifestyle of an elderly person living alone. This project sets a good example in which border design changes the life and the way the neighborhood looks.
