KENSHIN opens Forest After-School Program during elementary school summer, winter, and spring breaks. Step out of regular daily life and create wonderful memories making things, doing homework, and going bug hunting in the forest. Lunches consist of making miso soup in a large pot with vegetables the kids grew and harvested themselves, as well as building a fire to steam rice in a large kama(rice cooker) and making delicious onigiri (rice balls). Feel the sun, feel the wind, and at times, feel the rain—waken the body to the wonders of the forest by sparking a child’s curiosity in a way not possible through regular daily living. Child think and create by himself in this environment, That is the unique experience that we provide through KENSHIN’s Forest After-School Activity.
