Vision Design Project is a set of design activities to change the society for the better. Today’s society is so complex and diverse that a single organization cannot present an ideal scenario. The Japanese government has been advocating a concept called Society 5.0: “Super Smart Society,” where humanity is greatly valued. Vision Design Project is not aimed at suggesting solutions. It is aimed at presenting sample questions and answers about what form the social system should take in Society 5.0 to provoke worldwide discussion. Based on the discussion, we are going to share the collective knowledge and contribute to create a digital society where Japan plays a leading role.
