Trusting that sustainable society can be realized with both resource circulation (material) and local communities (people), we propose a living space composed of plenty of local wood and beyond the boundary of housing and non-housing. This solid and wooden “ GALANDO ~ hollow space~ “ enables various and continuous utilization such as houses, shops and community spaces. We aim coexistence of mountain forest and city with this building type.
