Yamahiro wood builder Co.,Ltd. is located in Shiso-city, Harima-region, and Hyogo-prefecture. The city experienced a forestry descent. In the old days, 120 sawmills existed, only 15 sawmills continue. We support the key industry in Shiso-city by using the Shiso-cedar as a wood material. In the Harima region, there are many endangered fauna and flora, headwaters and a beautiful mountain landscape. But the region experienced a forestry descent, which is why the mountain landscape is devastated nowadays. Therefore we use about 90% of the Shiso-cedar wood for the Harimachiya. In this way, we practically connect our regional knowledge of the culture and environment of the Harima region. We hope that the Harimachiya promotes a new landscape and the exchange with new residential area in the city.
