The first technology brand exhibition in Taiwan that combines VR recording to recreate the "highland lifestyle" above 3000 meters, has thoroughly demonstrated the determination of a world-renowned brand that aspires to take root in Taiwan. This plan has recruited professionals from various innovative fields to hike on the northern part of the Central Mountain Range with Samsung gear, which has hugely advanced the practicality of smart devices. 背景
How would a Korean technology brand stand out in Taiwan and market itself? The point of this project is to make the brand come off as genuine and 3 dimensional to the consumers, instead of constantly promoting its new products and new technologies. The smartphone market is competitive enough as it is, so Samsung shouldn't follow the traditional means of competition; the team decided to climb Taiwan's mountains and record what they saw using Samsung's own products, showing consumers results that are more than two-dimensional. While testing the limits of a tech brand, Samsung shares the awe-inspiring views of the mountains; this would be the best way to display imagination amidst the waves of competition in the world.

デザイナーの想い
Using the method of "field gathering", the exhibition practically records and participates in man's interaction with nature - to the creators of the exhibition, who also went on the climb, this is a progress that appeals to the body. During the climb, technology is the collecting tool for the exhibition; the team combined the use of Samsung's newest products and overcame technological limits, completing Taiwan's first mountain documentary shot by a smartphone, and capturing the special 360-degree shot by Gear 360 camera. At the venue, VR 360 passes through the space and time of 3742 meters above sea level, which makes the smartphone no longer a mere phone, but providing a new way of observing and thinking.
