"Sanuki Takamatsu Chihama's Ajinori and Yakinori" use only Inland Sea nori (laver) from the 1st and 2nd pickings of the year – the two most delicious. We express the flavor of this nori in the form of a typography. In Japanese, two nori together creates the word norinori (high spirits). This pun represents both taste and elation. "Aji" gives the impression of expansive flavor, and "Yaki" of deep aroma. The red gilding shows it is a local specialty with a regal bearing. The label and box depict the water and waves of the Inland Sea and are made using finely-textured "kinumomi" Japanese paper.
