It is a plan to redevelop the entire site by building a new housing complex in the premises where two sides of the outer wall of a historical building is preserved. The wall was completed by 1908 with the design of Mr. Kingo Tatsuno. Damaged by a major Earthquake, it was restored by incorporating the functions of the subway. We planned the houses with a store, with the aim of revitalizing with new functions inside of the wall. We designed an open space between the preserved wall and the new building as the main approach that initiates a new relationship between the living space and the town.
