Outline

This is a steel-frame tsunami evacuation tower that is made in the preparation for Nankai megathrust earthquakes.Winding slope and stairs,evacuation gondola,disaster prevention warehouses and emergency heliport are installed.Pedestrian overpasses directly connected from parking lots of surrounding tourism facilities are also prepared.Each facility is accessible for senior citizens and, normally, open to neighbours and tourists.For smooth use of the evacuation facility in the sudden event of earthquake, familiarization of the facility as a landmark tower with citizens is important.
