A promotional campaign is underway featuring the traditional crafts, foods, and performing arts of Kumamoto based on the old lunar calendar. This is to help local residents rediscover the value of handworks and to feel richness and happiness in their daily lives. The latest news on seasonal attractions, festivals, food culture, and nature throughout the prefecture will be provided nationwide mainly through Facebook and websites with “almanac” and “handwork” as keywords. We will also reach those who are less familiar with traditional culture via online media to propose old yet new lifestyles.
