FabLab is a global network of local laboratory that gives access to digital fabrication equipments such as a 3D-Printer and an internet network that connects to 400+ FabLabs worldwide. Asian Fablabs have spread to 30+ locations over 10 countries. FAN1(FabLab Asia Network 1st conference) is a conference for FabLab operators, users and digital fabricators/creators to solve common problems in the Asian region as the platform of co-creation. Participants from 8 countries joined workshops such as making products using sustainable and local materials designed to solve social problems in Asia.
