To raise Iwate goods’ profile and accelerate the post-3/11 reconstruction, we are marketing 100 items over 3 years in the Iwate original private brand (PB) “Pecco” series. These are the first PB products to be sold as a “prefectural brand”, and will help solve the problems of producers hurt by the disaster and help develop new human resources, in addition to revolutionizing the concept of PBs. Our products aim to appeal to women in their 30s and 40s. We are opening up new markets by creating products. “Pecco” means just a little in Iwate Japanese.
