The revitalization of Asakahamazaki, a residential complex near city center of Tokyo. The complex spans 2.6 hectares. Within the complex are 38 years old buildings, contains a total of 975 residential units. The residents comprise of elders, young families and singles. Creating concept “Urban Forest Asakahamazaki”, core renovation was focused on the common spaces/city block that the residents will circulate through or use daily. Thus our design proposal focused on offering to add a sense of identity and affluent environment where resident find their value in living.
