The concept of this project which stands in Shibuya was to provide a new style of living in Tokyo. In the background land prices are soaring in Tokyo, it’s limited to the wealthy to own a residence in Shibuya, yet there have been needs of people for more affordable ones. Applying a scheme which combined fixed-term land leasehold and prepayment of the rent, it achieved to provide the units in low prices. The units are designed to be variable in case of rent. It’s remarkable to provide a residence in a row of office buildings, expecting the new citizens could activate its community.
