An automatic fire alarm system which encourages evacuation and early fire fighting by automatically detecting a fire with a sensor and raising the alarm throughout the building. It has a manual fire alarm box, which manually sends a fire signal when someone discovers a fire and pushes the button, as well as a pilot lamp to clearly show the location of the alarm box. The night-time visibility of the alarm box has been improved while also securing visibility from the side by reducing the size of the alarm box, and fitting a cone-shaped, concave ring-type pilot lamp against the wall which lights the periphery of the alarm box. Conventionally, a pilot lamp stuck out 60 mm from the wall after being placed, but this addresses a need to improve the building design by making it fit flat to the wall. Furthermore, consideration has been given to safety so as not to cause injury or damage if touched, as it is flat when it is placed.
