Hold the receiver near a transmitter worn by the patient to display vital signs (ECG, breathing rate, O2 saturation, etc.) and the electrode attachment status received by wireless signals on the screen. With standard screenless transmitters, vital signs can only be checked by returning to a central monitor at the nurses' station. This receiver can communicate with multiple transmitters and is easily portable, making it possible to check information immediately in hospital rooms. It can even be used when moving patients or during rehabilitation, improving safety and lessening staff's workload.
