A non-metal contact voltage sensor that can measure voltage over a cable. Conventionally, it was common to measure voltage by pinching a metal part such as a screw of a circuit breaker with a metal clip. However, the establishment of the non-metal contact measurement technology has made it possible to measure voltage by pinching a cable with a resin clip, which has enabled the first safe voltage measurement in the world without danger of a short circuit or electric shock accident. Many corporations increasingly have energy-saving activities, and there is a need for visualizing the status of electricity usage more precisely. Safe and secure measurement broadens the base of electric power measurement, and helps realize energy savings in our society.
