企画・開発の意義
The GX Series was designed to be a high end laptop that combines superior performance with a slim form factor for maximum portability. The body is made from forged solid aluminum to allow a design of the greatest possible purity and simplicity. GX500 features 4K ultra-high resolution screen, delivering sharper images and improved viewing comfort at the same time.
創意工夫
The design of GX Series aims to balance overall simplicity with elaborately crafted details. The gentle lines and smoothly curved keyboard area convey a feeling of purity and minimalism, while special attention was paid to details like the diamond cut chamfer around the side surface, or the delicate circular gradient of the speaker pattern. GX Series uses a finely brushed spun-metal top surface, carrying on the DNA of ASUS premium laptops. The newly developed process of combined forging and CNC milling contributes to a more environmentally conscious manufacturing process. The GX Series is perfectly equipped for both home and work use, thus eliminating the need for additional devices, aiming at a more minimalist, resource aware life style.

移動性や高性能を備え、プロゲーマーのニーズを考慮したノート型パソコン。全体にタングステンスチールのブラックを採用して基調とし、それにマグマを表す赤いエレメントを融合させており、このパソコンが強調する神秘さ、「溢れんばかりの勢いを内に秘めている」様子によくマッチしている。デザインは全体的にシンプルで、軽く薄く、細部が細やかに造られており、これまでのゲーム機のどっしりとして単調なイメージを覆すものとなっている。製品本体は、アルミ材の鍛造・CNCを一体化した加工により成型されたもので、この機器全体の強度が高められているほか、持ち運びの手軽さも向上していて、移動することが多いユーザーも、この製品を使えばオンラインゲームを楽しむことが可能だ。
