This rug depicts the water flow and pebbles in the stream using cotton jersey fabric. The entire production process, which includes dyeing, cutting, sewing and assembling, is carried out by hand. This results in the unique shape of each piece, the impressive color integration and the beautifully delicate use of colors. The fact that the production strictly adheres to recycling practices is also highly rated. The factory located on the agricultural land in Chiangmai employs local workers and makes use of quality fabric scraps from knitted undershirts for babies. The delicate gradient look is created by reusing naturally extracted dyes until the color fades, at which point they are utilized for creating lighter colors. It is said that the dyed wastewater from production is almost nonexistent. The strong recycle-oriented production process and the quality design demonstrate the future direction of Thailand's next-generation design and manufacturing.
