Outline

Many of Indonesian villages now face a bad situation. People and natural resources as well as capitals flow from villages to cities with no return in balance. Through design & crafts production activity Magno propose to improve this situation. Magno apply New Crafts, a new system in setting up and manage crafts activity. New Crafts make easier to mastering skill as well as reach standard quality. The theme "Less Wood More Works" explains my thinking. I hope make a lot of works using small materials.

Evaluation

It is a challenge to contribute to the Indonesian economy through woodcraft, and an attempt to create quality design for wooden commodities and to produce them with relatively low skills. In other words, a product intermediating urban and rural. The wood material invokes an ecological image and also a warm feeling which makes users relate to the products. These handmade products may the products that urban people surrounded by technologically advanced objects are seeking underneath. The concept of "Less Wood More Works" is also appealing.
